The Ministry of Displaced People’s Affairs of the Presidential Council agreed on Sunday with the World Health Organization (WHO) to exchange information and assess the health conditions of the internally displaced persons and their host municipalities, including illegal immigrants.

The ministry stressed that the agreement aims to raise the capacity of primary health centres and to immunize migrant service providers, in addition, to improve hospital services in the southern region.

The WHO had earlier announced the provision of mobile clinics as well as operational materials for hospitals, in partnership with the Libyan Ministry of Health.
