Libyan Airlines has announced the resumption of flights to Alexandria from Benghazi and Tripoli after ending the dispute within the company and uniting the administration of the eastern and western regions.
The first direct flights to Alexandria will take to the skies on Thursday from Mitiga Airport of Tripoli and Benina of Benghazi, while other flights will resume next week.
The airline will operate three flights a week from Benghazi and the same from Tripoli, while the trip from Tripoli will land in Benghazi before continuing its journey.
A few days ago, the flag carrier conducted a flight from Mitiga to Benina after a pause of more than 18 months to mark the unification of the company's administration.
