The Libyan Consul General in Istanbul, Salah Al-Din Al-Kasih, has discussed with the governor of Istanbul, Davut Gul, humanitarian difficulties facing Libyans in Turkey, and to facilitate the process of deporting violators for long periods.
This came during a meeting between the two sides, regarding the expiration of the residence period for a number of Libyans.
The governor of Istanbul announced the start of actually arranging an urgent meeting with the Immigration Department and the relevant ministries of Foreign Affairs, Interior and Health to ensure that the arrangements proceed quickly.
