The Libyan embassy in Paris and the Consulate General in Marseille has asked Libyan citizens in France to be cautious in their movement and travels, given the riots and clashes in a number of suburbs of the French capital, and other areas, and the curfew announced in several locations. It asked citizens to stay away from the places of riots, and to follow the instructions of the French authorities.

The ongoing clashes in France between the French police and protesters entered their fifth day, while the French Ministry of Interior announced that the number of detainees reached over a thousand people, and the movement of public transportation in the country stopped for an indefinite period, according to the French Ministry of Interior on Friday.
