The Minister of Environment, Ibrahim Al-Munir, held discussions on Tuesday, with his Turkish counterpart, Murat Kurum, during which they stressed the importance of relations between the two countries.

This came on the sidelines of their participation in the 22nd Conference of the Contracting Parties to the Convention on the Protection of the Marine Environment and the Coastal Region of the Mediterranean "Barcelona Convention", which was launched on Tuesday, in Antalya, Turkey.
