The Minister of the Interior of the Government of National Accord (GNA), Fathi Bashagha, discussed on Friday with the Minister of the French Armed Forces, Florence Parly, methods to increase cooperation and joint operations in areas related to security issues.
The meeting discussed a number of security matters in the field of combating organized crime and terrorism, along with a number of other issues of common interest, according to a statement by the Ministry.
The Ministry also indicated that the meeting comes as part of an official visit attended by Bashagha in the French capital, Paris, which comes within the framework of increasing the potential and capabilities of the Ministry of Interior and providing the latest proficiency in accordance with the highest stipulations and international standards.
