A report by the committee appointed to assess damage in healthcare facilities in Tawergha revealed a massive damage done to the city’s medical centers and facilities.
The report said the national center for treatment of Leishmaniasis and Schistosoma and the healthcare center in Salah Al-Deen as well as Tawergha village hospital have all been hugely damaged, saying there will be some measures taken to reconstruct them.
A spokesman for the committee said the assessment of the needs of Tawergha came after field visits to the centers, adding that a lot of work is needed to rebuild the damaged healthcare facilities.
