Bad weather and floods that hit the city of Bani Walid caused the death of citizen Abdul Khaleq Awad, after the floods swept away his car, which led to his death.
Security services, Red Crescent, and the Ambulance, Emergency, Medical, and Emergency Services organized patrols and stopped the movement of cars on the road linking Bani Walid to Tarhuna.
Bani Walid Hospital also declared a state of emergency, while rain flooded a number of city streets due to weak infrastructure.
