The head of the Presidential Council, Mohammed Menfi, has discussed with the Russian Deputy Foreign Minister, Sergey Vershinin, supporting holding parliamentary and presidential elections in Libya during the current year 2023.
This came during their meeting on the sidelines of the Fifth United Nations Conference on the Least Developed Countries held in Doha on March 5, in the presence of the Russian Ambassador to Qatar, Dmitry Dugadkin.
Both sides also discussed the latest developments in the political situation in Libya, and ways to advance the political process, according to the Presidential Council media office.
