The head of the High Council of State (HCS), Mohammed Takala, has discussed with the head of the Presidential Council, Mohammed Menfi, the initiative launched by the Special Representative, head of the United Nations Support Mission in Libya, Abdoulaye Bathily.
Both sides reviewed the political situation and ways to reach consensuses that would contribute to achieving stability, the HCS said without giving any further details.
Last November, the UN envoy launched an initiative to hold a summit between the main parties in the Libyan crisis, to agree on the outstanding issues regarding the elections.
