The Minister of Interior, Imad Al-Trabelsi, has announced the launch of a security plan to secure the borders, ports and the desert to combat smuggling and preserve the capabilities of the homeland.

This came during his meeting, Sunday, with the Chief of the General Staff of the Libyan Army, Mohammed Al-Haddad, the Chief of Staff of the Land Forces, Al-Fitouri Gharibil, and the Head of the Internal Security Service, Lutfi Al-Hariri.

Al-Trabelsi stressed that the ministry is working according to strategic visions that ensure security and combat crime of all kinds.
