The Minister of Labour and Rehabilitation of the Government of National Unity, Ali al-Abed, has discussed with the head of Passports, Nationality and Foreign Affairs Authority, Major General Youssef Murad, the issue of entry of foreign workers into Libya.

According to Hakomitna Platform report on Friday, the meeting that brought together Al-Abed with Murad focused on the mechanisms of joint work between the ministry and the authority, to develop procedures for granting employment permissions, in accordance with the requirements of public interest.

The two sides stressed the importance of emphasizing the land and air ports to regulate the entry and exit of foreign workers, and that their entry into Libya be through the Wafed (Expatriate)digital platform.

The Ministry of Labour and Rehabilitation is scheduled to launch, next week , a wide inspection campaign within the scope of each municipality to follow up on expatriate workers.
