The Minister of Labour and Rehabilitation, Ali Al-Abed, met in Tripoli on Thursday, the Chadian Minister of Public Employment and Labour, Abdoulaye Ambadou Ambami, and his accompanying delegation.

During the meeting, Al-Abed reviewed the results of the conference of labour ministers of Cen-Sad Community member states, which was held in Tripoli last November, noting the importance of holding it periodically to ensure coordination between the countries of the Community in the fields of work, rehabilitation and vocational training.

The meeting touched on the possibility of electronic link between the ministries of both countries to facilitate labour movement, and efforts of the ministry that launched the Wafed (Expatriate) digital platform to facilitate labour procedures and preserve their rights.
