The Ministry of Education announced the resumption of studies on Sunday in 85 educational institutions in the municipality of Derna.
The head of the Education Monitoring Office in Derna, Abdul Hamid Al-Tayeb, explained that studies had resumed in educational institutions that were not exposed to damage.
Al-Tayeb reported that 18 schools were damaged as a result of the floods and torrents that swept through the municipality, of which 10 were severely damaged, confirming the availability of textbooks in the ministry warehouses.
