Maintenance work at the Ajdabiya water station will be complete within two weeks, spokesman Salah Al-Saadi of the Man-made River Authority (MMRA) has confirmed.

Al-Saadi said their teams installed four new pipelines within two days, considering it an "achievement for the national cadres."

On July 20, the MMRA said their maintenance teams managed to control the leakage resulting from an explosion in one of the MMRA pipelines, which halted water supplies to several areas between Benghazi and Ajdabiya.
