mines

Director of the Department of Explosives at the National Safety Authority, Ali Al-Qadi, has stated that more than 100 tons of war remnants are distributed across most of the areas south of Tripoli and the areas of the Western Mountain, Tarhuna, and Bani Walid.

“A number of areas in southern Tripoli have become prohibited to citizens due to mines that are difficult to detect,” Al-Qadi added, noting that explosives teams are facing difficulty in dealing with these mines due to the lack of capabilities.

He called on all citizens to be careful, not to deal with any type of bombs, and to report them to the competent authorities immediately to avoid any injuries.
