1,132 Turkish nationals in Libya started casting their ballots on Thursday in the Turkish presidential and parliamentary elections.

Turkey opened the ballot boxes in 14 countries, including Libya, in which the Turks elect their representatives for the first time, while the Turks from inside Turkey will be able to vote on May 14.

Four  candidates officially running in Turkey’s 2023 elections, President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, opposition bloc Nation Alliance’s candidate Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu, Homeland Party leader Muharrem İnce and far-right ATA Alliance’s candidate Sinan Oğan.
