Director of the Vaccinations Department at the National Center for Disease Control (NCDC), Abdul Basit Samiu, has confirmed the arrival of new shipments of childhood vaccinations.
Samiu said in a statement to the Libyan News Agency that the shipment included the polio vaccine and vaccinations for the ages of two months, six months, one year, and one and a half years, in addition to school vaccinations.
The NCDC's Vaccinations Department is awaiting the release of these shipments by the Food and Drug Control Center, he added, stressing that they will begin distributing these vaccinations to various health centers throughout the country by the end of October.
