The health authorities in Sirte received on Saturday a shipment of routine and mandatory vaccinations provided by the Vaccination Administration at the National Center for Disease Control (NCDC).
The shipment includes vaccines such as Pentavalent, Hexavalent, Combined, Pneumococcal, Rotavirus, BCG, Hepatitis, Tri-, Quadrivalent, Human Papillomavirus, Meningococcal, and Yellow Fever vaccines.
According to the Director of the Primary Health Care Office, Mohamed Idris, the vaccines will be distributed to all health centres in the city and surrounding areas based on their weekly and monthly needs.
He also noted that the Health Services Administration is preparing to launch School Health Days for vaccinations in all educational institutions following the school holiday.
