The Exploration Department of the National Oil Corporation reviewed, on Monday, during a technical meeting with its counterparts at the Austrian company OMV, the company's exploration activity in concession "103" in Block "106/4" in the Sirte Basin.
The activity consists of re-engaging to complete drilling in the exploratory well "B 1 - 106/4" (Moamel Cyclone), which reached the final targeted depth of "10,042 feet" and is being evaluated, according to a statement published by the NCO’s Facebook page.
During the meeting, the company also reviewed sites studied and evaluated in its areas of activity in the Sirte Basin in concessions "102, 103, M N 29, M N 74", in addition to the proposed work programme for the 2025.
