The Italian news agency Nova has reported that Libya's total annual production of natural gas ranges between 10 and 13 billion cubic metres, a decline from the previous rate of 15 billion cubic metres.

It was based on data from the National Oil Corporation, which shows that gas production currently ranges between 30 and 35 million cubic meters per day, of which 24 million cubic meters are allocated to operate power stations.

On Thursday, the Gela gas station in Sicily received 6 million cubic meters of Libyan gas, the agency reported quoting the numbers of the interactive map of gas flows in the Italian network.
