A fire broke out in the ambulance and emergency department at Al-Marj Teaching Hospital on Tuesday night, resulting in the injury of an employee of the company responsible for maintenance work at the hospital.
A hospital official said on Wednesday that the department is undergoing maintenance work and there are no patients there, so no human losses were recorded.
He added that the fire broke out in the ambulance and emergency department spreading from the windows to the large tree in front of the department, before civil defense and the competent authorities controlled the fire and succeeded in extinguishing it.
