The head of the parallel government in east Libya, Osama Hammad, said that he would launch several packages of service projects in all parts of the country, in order to facilitate all services for citizens.

Following his meeting with officials of the service, health and security sectors and notables of the city of Sirte; Hammad issued a decision to establish a free zone at the Port of Sirte because of its great importance from a commercial standpoint, according to the text of the decision.

For his part, the Director General of the Development and Reconstruction Fund, Belqasim Haftar, confirmed that the Fund will begin maintaining Sirte Airport and Sea Port, maintaining and developing government headquarters, hospitals and schools, establishing public lighting networks, paving roads, connecting water networks, rehabilitating sewage networks, and cleaning work.
