The Passports, Nationality and Foreigners’ Affairs Authority held a meeting with the Ambassador of Bangladesh on Wednesday to discuss work mechanisms and review problems encountering the Bangladeshi community in Libya and ways to address them.

The meeting also addressed facilitating of exit visas for the Bengali expatriates with no legal status.

The head of the Passports Authority expressed desire to ease the measures for the Bengali community and follow up on these measures in accordance with the relevant law in force.

The Ambassador of Bangladesh presented the shield of the embassy to the head of the Passports Authority, in gratitude for the performance of the Authority with regard to the Bangladeshi side, according to the Passports Authority report on its Facebook account.
