Chairman of the Presidential Council (PC), Fayez Al-Sarraj emphasized the need to activate cooperation agreements with the European Union, especially in the sectors of health and education.

This came during a meeting with the EU's ambassador to Libya, Alan Bugeja, in Tripoli on Thursday, who in turn confirmed the convergence of views on the importance of activating the joint committees between Libya and the European Union.

Bugeja affirmed his commitment to serve fully in order to achieve the programs agreed upon, between the PC's head and the European High Representative for Foreign Policy, Federica Mogherini.
