A delegation from the Qatari Director of Civil Aviation Security and the Aviation Security Team of Qatar Airways conducted a two-day visit to Tripoli to assess the security procedures at Mitiga Airport.

The Qatari delegation audited the security procedures implemented at the airport to ensure they met standard criteria to resume Qatari flights to Libya.

According to the Libyan Civil Aviation Authority, the audit included all airport facilities to verify alignment with civil aviation security standards and conduct a comprehensive evaluation.

The authority, affiliated with the Ministry of Transport, said the visit is part of efforts to enhance cooperation between Libya and Qatar and to resume flights between the two countries.
