Pictures circulated on social media showed the collapse of the dual carriageway in the Eastern Coast neighborhood in the city of Derna, near residential neighborhoods, as a result of heavy rains last Monday night.
Some activists and bloggers on social media called on the concerned authorities to urgently intervene to address this phenomenon before the onset of winter, warning of the consequences of any negligence that the city may face again after the disaster it suffered as a result of the floods, saying the repercussions of Storm Daniel are still continuing on the city.
