The Russian Ambassador to Libya, Aydar Aganin, and his accompanying delegation discussed with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the parallel government, Abdul Hadi Al-Hawij, the importance of reopening the Russian consulate in the city of Benghazi.
The media office of the parallel government stated that the meeting discussed ways to strengthen and develop bilateral relations between Libya and Russia and establish activities that enhance joint work between the two countries, in addition to discussing Russian participation in the international event "The Capital of Islamic Culture for the year 2023” in Benghazi.
