The Russian Deputy Foreign Minister, Mikhail Bogdanov has expressed appreciation to the Government of National Accord (GNA) for welcoming the joint statement of the Turkish and Russian presidents regarding the call for a ceasefire.
Bogdanov expressed, during a phone call with Foreign Minister, Mohammad Sayala on Thursday, his desire for Khalifa Haftar to respond to this call.
Earlier, the Presidential Council issued a statement welcoming the Turkish-Russian initiative while Haftar announced that combat operations will go on.
