The General Administration of Coast Security has rescued 123 illegal immigrants off the coast of Zuwara, while sailing towards the European coast.
The Coast Security explained, in a statement on its Facebook page, that immigrants were on board a dilapidated boat in the middle of the sea, adding that they were of different African nationalities and included men, women and children.
The immigrants were disembarked at the Sha’ab port of the Coast Security, Tripoli branch, and handed them over to the Anti-Illegal Immigration Agency to take the necessary legal measures.
