The United Nations envoy to Libya, Ghassan Saleme, emphasized the UN support for the work programs of the State Ministry for IDPs’ Affairs, by coordinating with future accredited focal points in IDP cases. 

During his meeting with the Minister of State for IDPs’ Affairs, Saleme discussed the urgent issues related to refugees and displaced persons and ways of providing them with humanitarian support, according to the Information Office of the Presidential Council.

The two sides examined the ministry's vision in addressing the issues related to ending the suffering of displaced people, the most important of which is the return of the Tawerghans to their homes.
