The Swiss Weather Research and Forecasting Model (WRF) has predicted a Mediterranean hurricane with a depth of 959 millibars off the Libyan coast from September 9 to 10 at a speed of up to 256 km / h, and it is classified as a category 5 hurricane according to the classification of the Mediterranean hurricane.

In the same context, the Wasem weather expected the occurrence of a strong, rare, or possibly seasonally unprecedented storm at the end of the aforementioned week, hitting the northeastern Libya and northwest Egypt directly, causing heavy rain, strong winds, and stormy sea conditions.
