Several Sudanese families arrived in the Umm Al-Araneb area in southern Libya, fleeing the ongoing war in Sudan.

A source told the Libyan News Agency that the families arrived in the region after a journey that lasted more than a month, as a result of the fighting, pointing out that most of these families moved from one region to another in Sudan through Darfur, during which they traveled thousands of kilometers across the desert.

The same source expected that number of Sudanese families fleeing into Libya would increase during the coming period.
