The head of the High Council of State (HCS), Mohammed Takala, and his accompanying delegation discussed Tuesday in Ankara with the President of the Turkish Grand National Assembly, Numan Kurtulmuş, the political developments in Libya and the situation in Palestine.

During the meeting, Kurtulmuş stressed the need for Islamic countries to work jointly to prevent the expansion of the war in the region and to end it immediately as soon as possible, noting that Turkey's efforts will continue to ensure calm on the ground.
