The US Special Envoy to Libya, Richard Norland, has discussed with the head of the High Council of State, Mohamed Takala, the importance of moving Libya’s UN-facilitated political process forward, exchanging views on ways the United States can assist Libyans to safeguard their sovereignty.
This came during a meeting on Sunday in the capital, Tripoli, in the presence of the Charge d’Affairs of the US Embassy, Jeremy Berndt, according to the embassy X platform page.
