The Tripoli Crisis Committee has received 20 brand-new garbage compactors provided by the Stabilization Support Project.

The stabilization project is implemented in partnership between the Libyan government; represented by the Ministry of Planning and the United Nations Development Fund (UNDP).

The step comes to increase the capacities of the municipalities in creating an environment free of rubbish, according to the Libyan Ministry of Planning.

The stabilization project, which began three years ago under the supervision of the Ministry of Planning, focuses on meeting the needs of the municipalities to address the problems that directly affect the communities.
