The Environmental Sanitation Department of the Municipality of Central Tripoli has set up a dedicated team to spray the streets and alleys with sodium hypochlorite, as a precautionary measure against COVID-19.
"The teams will roam the city's streets twice a day in the morning and evening starting from Saturday," the municipality stated.
It also noted that garbage collection sites will also be sanitized every night, in order to preserve the safety of citizens.
