Tripoli University signs agreement with FAO for supporting livestock sector

President of Tripoli University Nabil Al-Natah signed a cooperation agreement with the United Nations Food and Drug Organization (FAO) to strengthen the monitoring and detection centres for veterinary services in Libya.
The agreement includes improving animal health and protecting human beings from common diseases, in addition to raising awareness among citizens of the danger of such diseases.
The convention also covers animal vaccination support and training veterinarians and technicians, as well as focusing on people at risk of animal-borne diseases.
