Tunisian President, Kais Saied has emphasized his country's support for the democratic path in Libya, stressing to assist the Libyan people by all means available.

In his meeting with Chairman of the Presidential Council, Fayez Al-Sarraj, and his accompanying delegation in Tunisia on Tuesday, Saied reiterated the need for a comprehensive political settlement that would serve the interest of the Libyan people.

The two sides discussed ways to overcome obstacles to the movement of people and goods between the two countries, including sea and land outlets, and the problematic issues concerning the Ras Ijder crossing border, in addition to other topics of common interest.
