The Tunisian Minister of Foreign Affairs, Othman Jerandi has discussed with the European Commissioner for Justice, Didier Reynders a number of issues, including the Libyan file.

The Information Office of the Tunisian Foreign Ministry indicated that the meeting, which was held in Tunis, discussed current regional and international situation, especially the situation in Libya, the African Sahel region and counter terrorism efforts.

The Minister touched on the reform path in Tunisia aimed at consolidating the foundations of the rule of law and institutions and ensuring equality before justice, in a manner that responds to the aspirations of Tunisians to build a real and lasting democracy, a path that is being completed by organizing legislative elections on December 17, the Information Office added.
