Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan has emphasized Ankara’s ongoing efforts to strengthen ties with various Libyan factions.
Speaking on Saturday, Fidan announced the reopening of Turkey’s consulate in Benghazi, signalling continued communication with officials across the region.
He noted that Turkish businesses are also engaging with relevant stakeholders in Libya, highlighting the positive outcomes of what he described as a “conflict-free environment” achieved through Turkish initiatives.
Fidan stressed Turkey’s commitment to fostering conditions that support Libya’s national unity, outlining a step-by-step approach guided by a defined strategy.
