The African Intelligence website has revealed Turkey's intention to host a meeting between the Speaker of the Libyan House of Representatives (HoR), Agilah Saleh, and the head of the High Council of State (HCS), Khaled Al-Mishri, along with representatives of the main countries involved in the Libyan conflict on July 21.

“Turkey wants to put an end, one way or the other, to the feud between Prime Minister Abdelhamid Dbeibah and his designated successor Fathi Bashagha”, the website indicated, claiming that Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan seeks to regain upper hand on Libyan crisis.

The website added that the escalation of popular protests that shook Libya in the first week of July caused a strong reaction in Turkey, fearing that the country would plunge again into chaos.
