The Turkish authorities have exempted specific age groups of Libyan nationals from visa fees.

According to a memorandum sent to Libya's Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, the decision covers children under 16 and adults over 45 of regular passport holders.

The Turkish decision comes two weeks after Prime Minister Abdul Hamid Deaibah took a similar step by exempting Turkish children under the age of 18 and men and women over 55 from visa procedures to enter Libya.
