A delegation of Turkish industrialists and business leaders has expressed strong interest in investing in Libya, according to the Libya's Ministry of Economy and Trade.
During a meeting with Minister Mohamed Al-Huwaij, the delegation, led by Hakan Birkan and Yenişehir Mayor Erkan Özel, discussed opportunities for direct investments and partnerships with Libyan businesses.
The Libyan government has pledged to facilitate foreign investment, with Al-Huwaij urging Turkish companies to register with the ministry and establish branches or local partnerships. The minister also invited Yenişehir Municipality to explore twinning agreements with Libyan cities and encouraged further dialogue between Turkish and Libyan business leaders to expand economic ties.
