The Turkish Ministry of Defense said, on Friday, that the ship “TCG Kinaliada” visited the port of Al-Khums (northwest of Libya) as part of the Turkish naval working group.
The Turkish Ministry of Defense explained in a brief post on its official Facebook page: “The ship carried out logistical integration activities in the port of Al-Khums last Thursday within the scope of the Turkish Naval Working Group under the leadership of Major General Mustafa Kushan.”
The Turkish side did not provide further details about the ship’s visit to the port, while no official Libyan statement was issued on this respect.
