The UN envoy to Libya, Jan Kubis, discussed with the Russian deputy foreign minister, Mikhail Bogdanov, implementing the roadmap for settling the Libyan crisis.
A statement by the Russian Foreign Ministry said the two sides reviewed the implementation of the roadmap of the Libyan Political Dialogue Forum by the new executive authority.
The statement said they stressed the need to boost international efforts and focus on the UN role to achieve a solution in Libya based on respect for the country’s sovereignty.
"Moscow reiterated commitment to resolving the Libyan crisis based on a comprehensive Libyan dialogue that includes all political parties in the country." The statement reads.
