The implementation of the solar water pumping system project for the areas of the Jufra municipality including , Hun, Wadan, and Sukna was recently completed with direct support from the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) in cooperation with the Ministry of Local Government and the Jufra Municipal Council.
Muhammad Al-Ansari, Director of Project Management at the Jufra Municipal Council, said that the project will actually provide more than 40,000 people, adding that his initiative is supported by the UNDP Local Peacebuilding and Resilience Program and funded by the European Union.
