The USA has confirmed that it will continue to interact with parties in all regions of Libya to support efforts aimed at promoting sustainable peace and security, unifying and improving the efficiency of the Libyan army, and protecting the country’s sovereignty.

This came during the visit of the US Defense Attaché and his accompanying delegation to Libya, during which he met with Chief of General Staff of the Libyan Army, Lt. Gen. Mohamed Al-Haddad, the Assistant Chief of General Staff, Maj. Gen. Salah al-Deen al-Namroush, Chief of Staff of the Land Forces, Maj. Gen. al-Faitouri Grebel, and Chief of Staff of the Navy, Maj. Gen. Nour al-Din al-Buni, in addition to brigade commanders in various military institutions, according to US Embassy.
