The Central Committee for Local Government Elections announced on Thursday that the voter registration for the second municipal elections has been opened, which is scheduled to take place in 2019.
The Committee said in a statement that the registration of voters will begin from next Wednesday, 12 December, for the purpose of updating the electoral register of municipalities that have expired the legal mandate of their municipal councils.
76 municipalities have expired its legal mandate since June 2018.
