The UN Advisor Stephanie Williams said on Twitter on Saturday that her initiative aimed at activating and consolidating the consensus of the House of Representatives (HoR) and High Council of State (HCS) via the two roadmap committees, saying she stands with millions of Libyans who want to change this unacceptable status quo and renew legitimacy of institutions through elections.
Williams added that her initiative came from her great concern about helping Libyans end division and build a real consensus for establishing a constitutional basis that would lead to elections as soon as possible.
"I'm sorry to see media campaigns targeting the efforts to end fragmentation and division in Libya." Williams added on Twitter.
